Nathan Hale - New Book and Film

Exciting news for Connecticut's State Hero. Warner Bros. Pictures has picked up the option to produce a film about Nathan Hale. The new book is being written by M. William Phelps and is due to be released in Fall 2008.

The storyline covers Hales last three years from 1773 to 1776. When he graduated from Yale College in September 1773, he took his first job as a teacher in East Haddam and then a second teaching job in New London. The Connecticut SAR owns and operates both schoolhouses as museums.
