Connecticut Line CTSSAR - REPORT - Columbia Independence Day Parade

July 7, 2009 1:06 PM

Dear Compatriots of the Connecticut Line CTSSAR,

Today the Connecticut Line once again marched in the 4th of July, Independence Day Parade in Columbia, Connecticut. We received the Blue Ribbon, First Place for Best Marching Unit in the 2008 Parade. We had previously won the Red Ribbon for Second Place in the 2007 Parade. That deserves THREE HUZZAHS!!!

I would like to thank the following members for marching:

Lee Gerlander
Todd Gerlander
Randy Gerlander
Bob Rivard
Tom Smith
Russ Wirtalla

Just a reminder, the 230th Anniversary of the Battle of Norwalk is next weekend, Friday thru Sunday. Info and schedules are posted at the website previously mentioned regarding the event. We can still use more members for the event.

Put your faith in God and keep your powder dry,

Todd L. Gerlander
Colonel Commanding
