Nathan Hale Homestead

nh_homestead.jpg

Description:

‘I
only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country’ are the
last words spoken by Nathan Hale, Connecticut State Hero, before the
British hanged him as spy in 1776. The Hale family’s farm, built the
same year, offers a fascinating glimpse into life during the
Revolutionary War era.

Nathan’s fowling gun and bible are among remaining family artifacts.
